About the event
What is Esports Nations Cup?
The Esports Nations Cup is run by the Esports Foundation, which also runs the Esports World Cup. It is planned as a biennial event in which national teams compete across leading esports titles, with more than 100 countries and territories involved. The first edition was due in November 2026, but the organisers postponed it to November 2027 in Riyadh after reviewing the wider regional situation.
Development fund commitments to national team partners remain in place during the delay. As the first edition of a new format, the event is likely to draw strong interest from federations, sponsors and fans following their own countries. National teams and partners will need team content, match-day photos and short highlight clips.
