The challenge
Like many financial groups, Finance House relied on a printed annual report. Print was costly and slow to revise, and once the copies were produced, any error was locked in: there was no way to correct a figure or update a page after printing. For a document that stakeholders and investors rely on for accurate data, that combination of high cost, slow turnaround and zero flexibility was a growing problem.
The objective
The aim was to lead the group's digital transformation with an interactive annual report: one that presents the group's data in an engaging, informative way rather than as static pages, and that sets an example for moving other communications from print to digital.
Our strategy
We built a dedicated micro-site for the annual report, linked to the group's main website. A micro-site gives the report its own focused space, with navigation designed around the report's sections and interactive presentation of key data, while the link to the corporate site keeps it part of the group's wider digital presence. Readers reach the report directly, on any device, without waiting for printed copies.
Crucially, the micro-site is fully editable at any time, so figures and content can be corrected or updated after publishing instead of being fixed in print.
