About the event
What is Pharmaconex?
Pharmaconex describes itself as Africa's leading pharmaceutical manufacturing event. It is organised around nine product sectors, from active pharmaceutical ingredients and fine chemicals to cleanrooms, process machinery and packaging. A conference programme of more than 80 sessions covers regulation, localisation, quality and technology in pharmaceutical production. The 2027 edition runs over three days at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, following the 2026 show held from 1 to 3 September.
The 2026 edition attracted 350+ exhibitors and over 21,000 visits from more than 40 countries, including plant managers, R&D teams and procurement specialists. Exhibitors use photography, product videos and social content to reach this technical audience. Pharmaceutical manufacturing in Egypt and across Africa is expanding as governments push for local production. Exhibitors can use stand photography, equipment demonstration videos and interview clips to explain complex products, support sales follow-up and share their presence with clients across the region.
