About the event
What is Food Africa?
Food Africa connects food and beverage manufacturers, exporters and suppliers with buyers across Africa and the Middle East. Recent editions ran 9–12 December 2025 and 7–10 December 2026, co-located with interpack MEA for processing and packaging, Fresh Africa for produce and Dates Africa. The 2025 show covered around 50,000 square metres of gross exhibition space at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in New Cairo, with national pavilions from many countries.
The 2025 edition hosted 1,200 exhibitors from 51 countries and 37,000 visitors. Exhibitors rely on product photography, stand videos and social content to reach importers, retailers and hospitality buyers. Many exhibitors take part through national pavilions or trade missions and need to report results back home. Planned photography, interviews and quick social updates help them follow up with buyers and promote their products across African and Middle Eastern markets after the show.
