About the event
What is Riyadh Book Fair?
The Riyadh International Book Fair is one of the largest book fairs in the Arab world, organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission under the Ministry of Culture. Alongside publishers' stands, it runs panel discussions, workshops and lectures by Saudi and international writers and academics. The 2026 edition includes a Saudi Authors Corner for self-published works and a children's pavilion with interactive programmes.
The 2025 edition, held at Princess Nourah bint Abdulrahman University, reported 1.38 million visitors and more than 2,000 publishing houses and agencies from over 25 countries. With such large public crowds, publishers, cultural bodies and sponsors benefit from coverage of author signings, talks and family activities that can be shared across social channels.
