About the event
What is Red Sea Film Festival?
The festival is run by the non-profit Red Sea Film Foundation and has been held in Jeddah's historic Al Balad district since 2021. The fifth edition ran from 4 to 13 December 2025. The sixth edition had been set for 3 to 12 December 2026, but in September 2026 the foundation postponed it, citing the logistics of an event of this size. It plans to return in the fourth quarter of 2027.
The 2025 edition screened more than 100 films from around 70 countries, with the Yusr Awards for features, shorts and acting. Red carpets, premieres and industry sessions bring stars, filmmakers, buyers and brands to Jeddah. Sponsors and luxury partners need red-carpet photography, short interviews and fast social content delivered during the festival.
