About the event
What is WETEX?
WETEX (Water, Energy, Technology and Environment Exhibition). WETEX has been organised by DEWA since 1999 and covers renewable energy, water, green mobility, smart cities and sustainability technology. It runs alongside the World Green Economy Summit. Recent editions were held at Dubai World Trade Centre from 30 September to 2 October 2025 and on 20–22 October 2026. Dates for the 2027 edition have not yet been announced, but the event has consistently taken place in late September or October.
According to WETEX, its 27th edition (2025) drew more than 50,000 visitors, 3,100+ exhibiting brands from 65 countries, 68 sponsors and 18 country pavilions across about 95,000 square metres. Many exhibitors are selling to utilities and government buyers. Clear video of technology in use, sponsor visibility content and coverage of VIP stand visits help turn a three-day show into long-term sales material.
