What is Dubai Shopping Festival?
The Dubai Shopping Festival is the city's best-known retail season. For several weeks, malls and shops run discounts, raffles and prize draws, while the city hosts concerts, drone and fireworks shows, markets and family entertainment. The 31st edition ran for 38 days, from 5 December 2025 to 11 January 2026, and the dates for the next edition had not been announced at the time of writing.
DSF covers the busy winter tourist season and the New Year period, when retail and hospitality brands compete hard for attention. Malls, retailers and sponsors need a steady flow of content: in-store and activation photography, short promotional videos, influencer content and event-night coverage that can be posted quickly. Coverage often needs to run over several weeks.
