What is 1 Billion Followers Summit?
The 1 Billion Followers Summit focuses on the creator economy. It brings together content creators, social platforms, media companies, brands and government bodies for keynotes, panels, workshops and networking. The summit is held under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, and the 2027 dates were announced at the close of the previous edition. Sessions cover content, platforms, monetisation and AI in media.
The organiser reported over 30,000 attendees, more than 15,000 content creators, over 500 speakers and 580-plus sessions at the edition held in January 2026. For brands and platforms, this is a chance to meet creators in person, so polished photos, interviews and fast social content are central to a strong presence.
