About the event
What is Dubai Design Week?
First held in 2015, Dubai Design Week presents exhibitions, installations, talks, workshops and the Downtown Design trade fair across architecture, furniture, product, interior and graphic design. It takes place under the patronage of Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The 12th edition runs on 3–8 November 2026 at d3. The 2027 edition is expected in November, but dates are not yet confirmed.
According to the organisers, the 2025 edition welcomed more than 135,000 visitors and over 1,000 designers, architects and creative practitioners from more than 50 countries. Installations and product launches here are highly visual and short-lived. Well-shot photography and video let designers, brands and sponsors keep the work in front of clients long after the pavilions come down.
