About the event
What is Sheikh Zayed Festival?
Held under the patronage of UAE President H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the festival combines a heritage village, international country pavilions, concerts, traditional sports and nightly shows. It is known for its New Year's Eve fireworks and drone displays. The 2026–27 season runs from 30 October 2026 to 14 March 2027, so the next season should begin in late 2027.
The festival hosts more than 16 international pavilions, welcomed over 30,000 visitors on the opening day of the 2025–26 season and set five Guinness World Records on New Year's Eve 2025. With months of events, pavilions and sponsors need regular photo and video content to keep crowds coming back through the season.
