About the event
What is Abu Dhabi Marathon?
The ADNOC Abu Dhabi Marathon is the capital's largest road race, with a full marathon and shorter 10km, 5km and 2.5km distances. In 2025 the route started at Zayed Sports City and passed Qasr Al Hosn, Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, Wahat Al Karama, ADNOC headquarters and Capital Gate. The series also includes the Al Dhannah Flat Out (24 October) and the Al Ain Half Marathon (7 November 2026).
The 2025 edition attracted more than 37,000 participants and a prize pool of over US$300,000. With tens of thousands of runners, supporters and an event village, sponsors and corporate teams can gather a large amount of content in one morning, from start-line drone shots to finish-line emotion.
