About the event
What is Abu Dhabi Book Fair?
The Abu Dhabi International Book Fair is one of the region's leading book fairs, with publishers from around the world alongside a cultural programme of talks, signings and workshops. In 2024 the organiser announced dates up to 2030, listing 24 April to 3 May for 2027. However, the 2026 edition moved from April to 13–18 September 2026, so the 2027 dates should be reconfirmed.
The 35th edition in 2026 hosted 1,200 exhibitors from 95 countries and about 1,500 cultural events, with free entry via the official app. Publishers, cultural bodies and education brands use the fair for launches and signings, where good photos and short author videos extend reach beyond the halls.
