About the event
What is Jeddah Book Fair?
The Jeddah Book Fair is organised by the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission, which also runs the Riyadh fair. The 2025 edition, held at the Jeddah Superdome from 11 to 20 December, featured more than 1,000 publishers and agencies from 24 countries across about 400 booths. A 2027 edition is expected in December, but timing may change because the Riyadh fair moved to December in 2026.
The programme included more than 170 talks, seminars and workshops, plus a children's area. Publishers, cultural bodies and education brands use the fair to meet readers and families on the Red Sea coast. Photos of signings, short author clips and recap videos help partners share the event with wider audiences.
